The Strategic Conception of Economic Cooperation among Jiangsu Coastal Regions

江苏沿海开发已"升级"为国家战略。在新一轮的江苏沿海开发战略实施进程中,沿海区域经济合作应以市场机制为纽带,以连云港、盐城、南通三个城市为中心,以沿海高速公路、沿海铁路等交通干线为轴线,以构建沿海产业和生态长廊为切入点,按照城市群、产业带和港口群三位一体的联动开发模式展开,实施三环联动、资源整合、联合营销和可持续发展的江苏沿海区域经济合作战略。

Jiangsu＇s coastal development plan having been upgraded to a national strategy, Jiangsu＇s coastal regions, the ＂low ebb of coastai economies＂, should seek this golden opportunity to achieve common coordinated.growth by integrating regional resources and strengthening regional cooperation. This article, based on the theory of regional economic cooperation and analysing the fundamentals of economic cooperation among Jiangsu＇s coastal regions from the perspective of regional interdependence, conceives the economic cooperation strategy of ＂three--link coordination, resource integration, joint marketing and sustainable growth＂. It also suggests the strategic route to the achievement of economic cooperation among Jiangsu＇s coastal regions.
