对创作主体心术情性的陶冶与培育,是刘勰《文心雕龙》的理论主旨,也是中国古代文论乃至中华传统文化的核心精神。中国儒家的心性义理之学固然有其封建性和保守性,但在摒弃了传统儒学从维护封建统治出发的种种僵化、保守、反动的糟粕之后,还是有其现代价值和积极意义的。儒家仁德、仁政的理想,中国传统文化所弘扬的仁爱、诚信、忠厚、朴实、节俭、勤劳、清廉等等高尚品德,是守护了中华民族几千年的精神家园。在商品经济大潮冲击、社会上物欲横流、唯科学主义盛行、人文精神滑坡以至缺失的今天,其越发显现出不可磨灭的光华。

It represents the main spirit of Chinese classic literary theory and traditional Chinese culture. Chinese humanities spirit in Confucian doctrine has confessedly its positive value although it has its own feudalism and conservatism at the same time. The Confucian＇s benevolent government advocates a moral act which is the soul of traditional Chinese culture. In commodity economy time, the world is full of material desires. Nowadays scientism prevails and humanism begins to slide. We need more and more a kindhearted, honest, tolerant, prudential, industrious and incorruptible spirit to live the splendor of our traditional culture radiantly.
