Influence of the Invisible Factor——Face on Self-repair in Conversation

文章拟运用Brown和Levinson提出的面子理论及国外关于话语修正的理论成果作指导,立足于国内已有的研究现实,从社会语言学的视角,围绕内容修正、恰当修正、错误修正和重新措辞修正四种会话自我修正类型,通过实例分析来探讨在社会交往中,面子这种隐性因素对会话自我修正的影响。

Guided by Brown and Levinson＇ s Face Theory and based on the studies on self - repair in conversation both at home and abroad, this paper probes into the influence of the invisible factor - - - face on self - repair in conversation from a social linguistic perspective. Typical examples are provided to analyze the four types of self-repair： information repair, appropriateness repair, error repair and rephrasing repair.
