Application of Fluent in Aerodynamic Features of Automobiles

摘要 当车辆在空气中运动时,会受到空气的作用力,且空气阻力随车速的增加而迅速增加,从而对车辆高速行驶时的动力学性能产生显著的影响。计算流体力学(Computational Fluid Dynamics,CFD)软件Fluent具有实体造型、空气动力学计算和计算结果图形化等功能,可以应用到对汽车气动特性的研究中。基于Fluent软件对汽车行驶的外流场进行了仿真,可以直观地得到外流场压力和速度的分布图,并通过计算结果相关数据对汽车气动特性进行了分析。结果表明:基于CFD软件的汽车外流场仿真结果与实际情况较为吻合,是汽车研发及改进过程的可行手段。 Moving in the air, a car may be influenced by air resistance. In addition, the resistance rises rapidly with the car speeding up, which can affect markedly the features of aerodynamics of the car at a high speed. Fluent, a CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamics) software can construct entity, compute about aerodynamics and display the result in figure, so it can be used in studying the aerodynamics features of cars. Based on Fluent this paper simulates the outer fluent field and analyzes the aerodynamics features with data and figures got from the simulation. It is concluded that this method is very helpful in auto industry.
