On Multi-Cultural Marks and Social Functions of Long-Drum Dance of Yao Nationality

瑶族长鼓舞是瑶族人民在长期生活实践过程中创造的娱神、娱人的舞蹈形式。其舞蹈动作与瑶族人民的生活环境、生产劳动息息相关,与瑶族人民的宗教信仰、民族精神紧密相连。从分析瑶族长鼓舞的起源及种类入手,对瑶族长鼓舞的多元文化特征及其社会功能进行了研究和探讨。

Long-drum dance of Yao nationality, created by Yao nationality in their daily life, is the dancing form to entertain the spirits and human beings. The dancing actions have close relations with Yao nationality＇s living environment and production activities as well as their religious belief and national idealism. This paper analyzed the origin and kinds of long-drum dance of Yao nationality, and studied multi-cultural characters and various social functions of long-drum dance.
