Study on Light WebGIS Platform Based on ASP.NET AJAX Framework

提出了一个应用ASP.NET AJAX框架建立轻型WebGIS平台的解决方案。平台采用客户端、Web服务器端、应用服务器、数据库服务器4层结构设计。系统基于Ajax和SVG技术,它可以很好的满足WebGIS大量的即时交互、频繁的服务器通讯以及大量数据传输等要求,有效地减轻服务器的负担,减少数据的传输量,极大地提高了用户体验。

The paper proposes a solution of Light WebGIS Platform based on ASP. NET AJAX Framework. The platform is designed in such a four - storey structure as client, web server, application server and database server. Based on Ajax and SVG, the system could meet the WebGIS requirements, such as the large number of immediate interaction, the frequent communication to servers and the data transmission requirements, which effectively reduees the burden on the server and the amount of data transmission and greatly enhances the users＇experience.
