高等教育个体功能的研究——兼论“新读书无用论”

Study on the Individual Function in Higher Education——Discussion on "New Issue of the Useless of College Education"

改革开放至20世纪90年代末期,中国的大学文凭一直是好工作、高工资、高质量生活的敲门砖。自1998年大学扩招之后,中国的大学毕业生迅猛增加,大学毕业生遭遇"毕业即失业",再加上大学收费节节攀升,"教育致贫"现象屡见不鲜,新一轮的"读书无用论"在坊间流行。因此,有必要对高等教育影响个体生活的功能理论进行梳理,深入剖析高等教育对个体的影响,引导人们以科学的态度看待高等教育。

From reform and opening to the end of 1990s, college diploma had been the symbol of good job and high wage. After the students＇ enrollment enlargement in higher education, college graduates are dramatically increased, and so many graduates cannot get an employment. Meanwhile, the tuition and other expenditure for university student are increasing, and the phenomena of poverty caused by education are common. So ＂the idea of useless of college education＂ becomes popular. It is necessary for us to introduce academic and experiential analysis of higher education influence on Individual.
