"九叶"派根据本土化原则和个性化要求,合理借鉴西方现代主义,剔除其与时代精神相悖的因素,并藉此以与政治口号诗作出根本的区别,建立"中国式"的现代主义诗学;"九叶"诗派对于新诗现代化,提高民族审美能力,作出了特殊贡献。

This thesis is committed to analyze of the concept of modem poetry and illustrate that Nine Leaves Poetry Group according to the principles of localization and individualization, properly admitting of western modernism. Rid of the elements opposing to modem trend and distinguishing itself from the political slogan poetry, this thesis is attempting to form modernism poetry with Chinese characteristics. Nine Leaves Poetry Group has made considerable contribution to raising the national aesthetic level.
