Objective To discuss the curative effect of electro - acupuncture plus rehabilitation training on dysphagla after stroke. Methods 88 cases with dysphagia after acute stage of stroke were randomly divided into 2 groups : treatment group ( n = 46 ) and control group ( n = 42 ) ; combined treatment of electro - acupuncture plus rehabilitation training was given to patients in treatment group and routine treatment was given to patients in control group. Results 1 month after treatment, the improvement of dysphagia of the patients in treatment group was much superior than that of the patients in control group, and the difference between the 2 groups was significant ( P 〈 0. 01 ). Conclusions Electro - acupuncture plus rehabilitation training can improve the swallowing function of the patients, decrease the occurrence of complications and raise the life quality.
