前端面反射率对外腔半导体激光器输出谱的影响

摘要 采用射线法,计及增益随波长的变化,导出了光纤光栅外腔半导体激光器(FGESL)输出谱的表达式.利用该表达式采用数值模拟理论研究了前端面反射率对光纤光栅外腔半导体激光器输出谱的影响.结果表明前端面反射率越小,外腔模越明显,边模抑制比相应的也越大. The expression of the output spectrum of the fiber grating external cavity semiconductor laser (FGESL) is deduced by means of ray tracing method, with the relation of gain distribution and the change of wavelength under consideration. With this expression, we theoretically studied the influence of the front facet reflectivity on the output spectrum of FGESL by numerical simulation. The results show that, with the decrease of front facet reflectivity, the extemal cavity is more obvious and the side mode suppression ratio of FGESL increases.
