Research on Science Students' Individual Differences in English Learning

大学英语计算机辅助自主学习模式的广泛开展给大学生的英语学习带来新的挑战和契机。根据对理工科大学生英语学习中个体差异调查统计数据,对大学生的认知风格、学习策略、学习动机、学习态度、语言焦虑进行了总体分析和性别差异比较,提出了完善大学英语网络教学和提高理工科学生自主学习能力的对策和建议。

The widespread Computer-assisted College English autonomous learning model has brought college students both challenges and opportunities. Based on the data on some Science students＇ individual differences in English learning, this paper empirically examined gender differences in cognitive style, learning strategies, motivation, attitude, language anxiety. At last, it puts forward some strategies and suggestion to improve Web-based College English teaching and science students＇ autonomy.
