A discussion on terminal care and voluntary euthanasia

Euthanasia is an ancient topic. The author thinks there are several reasons to implement euthanasia: ① to promote development of social civilization; ②to save health resources; and ③to respect everybodys own choice of the way to die. Much work have been done in the developed countries on this issue. Euthanasia concerns the transformation of peoples idea and is related with medicine, philosophy, sociology, ethics and law. With the progress made in social life, euthanasia will be legalized for sure. Hospitals shall play a role during the legalization of euthanasia.
