隐喻是一种语言现象,更是一种思维方式和认知手段。在言语交际活动中,隐喻依赖于语境,隐喻必须在一定的语境中才能实现其价值和意义,语境对隐喻具有制约作用。语境在隐喻翻译中具有重要的作用。

Metaphor is a linguistic phenomenon, a thinking mode and way of human cognition. In communication activities, metaphor is closely related to context, and always realizes its value and significance in a certain context. In the meantime, Context restricts metaphor. Context plays a very important role in metaphor translation.
