The library service through computer and network has became reality. The library network security problem is worth paying attention. In this article, the thorough comprehensive research of the security problem met in the Library informationization service has been done. It has explored the root causes of safety problems, analyzed security needs, sorted out the principle of security protection ,summed up the security model and taken out the omni-directional solution. It will have a certain help to the university library in solving the actual security problem.
