摘要
蔡邕是东汉末年碑文创作大家,一生创作了大量碑铭,获得后世高度赞誉,但同时也受到不少非议。蔡邕出仕董卓自是他人生的一个失误,而由蔡邕碑作的某些特点进而怀疑其文品、人品,使其碑文创作成就遭到忽视和冷遇,则有失公允;以蔡邕早年间的感慨来定论他一生的碑文创作,认为"每有碑作,便有愧色"更是过于武断。蔡邕碑作大多精心结构,咏颂得当,文质相扶,在征史的基础上,还融入个人的道德判断和价值取向,尽可能把史学精神和美文追求结合起来,从而取得很高成就,奠定了碑文创作的最初典范,应得到固有的评价。
A master of tablet inscription writing in the late East Han Dynasty, Cao Yong Contributed a large quantity of tablet inscriptions li his life, which gained both high praises and bitter criticisms from later generations. Cai Yong committed the worst mistake in his lifetime when he accepted the appointment of being a minister in Dong Zhuo's clique. However, it is not so fair to neglect his achievements in tablet inscription writing owing to some doubt about his personality and writing style. Justly speaking, most of Cai' s tablet inscriptions were well-organized, properly-appreciating and well-expressive. Based on a recall of life story, Cai managed to combine historical spirit with aesthetic pursuit by adding his personal moral judgment and ideological orientation to inscriptions, hence his great achievements to be the initial model for tablet inscription writing.
