Providing for the aged at home by communities:functions,defects and improvement——Take Northwest New Community in Lanzhou as an example

西北地区老龄化速度加快冲击着传统的家庭养老和机构养老模式,社区居家养老以其功能优越性成为西北地区解决养老服务供需矛盾的路径选择。本文以西北新村社区为分析个案,总结了社区居家养老模式的功能与限度,提出了使之完善的对策建议。

When the aging speed speeds up in the Northwestern district, the traditional patterns of providing for the aged by families and providing for the aged by agencies are becoming less effective. Then, providing for the aged at home by communities is an effective way to solve the problem. By taking the case of Northwest New Community in Lanzhou city as an example, the es- say analyzes the functions and defects of the new pattern and offers suggestions to improve it.
