In the key period of strategic shift, the construction of the Northeast Development Priority Zone of China is seriously attacked by Global Economic Crisis, which includes financial crisis, energy crisis, and food crisis. This paper aims at assessing the negative impacts of the global economic crisis on the Zone and confirms the comprehensive advantages of it in dealing with the global economic crisis. Moreover, countermeasures are also explored herein on how to get the Zone out of the shadow of the current crisis.
