Factors of influencing the yield of acetylene were discussed. Improving measures were proposed： welding one inclined outlet at the the under part of the feeding barrel, installing one branch pipe at the vent pipe of upper storage bunker to recycle acetylene, reducing the dissolving loss of acetylene, and determining the number of generator to be operated and the amount of water adding to a generator according to the theoretical yield of acetylene.
