In the Haihe River crossing project of DN1 400 water supply pipeline in Lingang Industrial Area, the immersed tube traction technology ( inverted siphon) was used. After welding, anti-corrosion and assembling on the riverside, the steel pipe was floated into over the trench, and water was filled in the pipe to make it sink down to the trench. The construction method and the concrete technical measures are introduced, which can provide a reference for the relevant works.
