滞后和失衡的中国当代艺术批评——蒙难的美术理论——试谈美术理论翻译的前提

摘要 [编者按]2009年5月,“2009北京国际中国当代艺术理论批评研讨会”在北京珀丽饭店举行,该论坛发起的初衷是针对近年来相对艺术创作、收藏、尤其是艺术市场的火热而言,艺术批评理论发展滞后和失衡的现状,而展开在艺术理论领域的话语建设。作为国内学术媒体,本刊对此次论坛予以了高度的关注,本期“视点”所发表的文章便是此次论坛中部分比较优秀的论文及本刊组织的艺术批评文章。这些文章对当代艺术批评中存在的种种问题进行了归纳和梳理,大致如次:一、中国当代艺术理论对西方当代艺术理论的从属性和依赖性;二、作为艺术理论基础的中国现代思想的缺乏;三、中西当代艺术理论交流沟通上语言的困难;四、中西文化差异在艺术理论上的反映问题;五、艺术市场的发展和艺术理论及批评的商品化。 Editor's notes: In May, 2009, "2009 Beijing International Seminar on Chinese Contemporary Art Theory and Criticism" was held at Beijing Rosedale Hotel. The forum was initiated to invite more discussion in the field of art theory, as art theory and criticism are lagged and imbalanced compared with art creation and collection, especially hot art market in recent years,. As a domestic academic magazine and articles about art criticism organized by Art China, Art China pays high attention to this forum, and the articles here are some excellent papers from this forum. These articles make summaries and investigations on the problems existing in Chinese contemporary art criticism, roughly as follows: First, Chinese contemporary art theory's subordination to and dependence on Western contemporary art theory; Secondly, the lack of Chinese modern thoughts as the art theoretical foundation; Thirdly, the language difficulties in the communication between Chinese and Western contemporary art theories: Fourthly, the reflection of the differences between Chinese and Western cultures in the art theory; Fifthly, the development of art market and the commercialization of art theory and art criticism
