Role of the Government in the Venture Investment

通过对风险投资的特点进行分析,从理论上阐明了政府不能成为风险投资主体、不能直接干预风险投资的重要性。政府的角色应该是通过制定各项政策来营造高科技风险投资发展的政策环境,进而促进高科技风险投资业的发展,并针对我国发展高科技风险投资的现行政策存在的问题提出了相应的对策建议。

Based on analysis of the features of venture investment, it is stated in theory that the government should not be the main body of the venture investment or intervene in the venture investment directly. The government＇s role is to creata policy environment propitious to the development of high tech venture investment. Finally, some countermeasures put forward are in light of the problem existing in the current policies of high tech venture investment of China.
