Discipline construction is the vital guarantee for improving teaching quality. Starting from the perspective of discipline construction and development, the authors have summarized the constructing process of track and field discipline in CIPE, and shared some worthy experiences and achievement in order to provide valuable references for guiding and strengthening discipline construction in institutions of physical education in China.
