广告是一种非常活跃的动态经济活动,更是一种以创新为基本要求的活动。英文广告语篇,以其独特的创造性与趣味性,已经成为英语的一个独特语言分支,以创新词汇和修辞方法为其主要特点。对英文广告语篇进行话话分析,展现其特点,能使读者更好地理解广告语篇的言外意义,学会欣赏创意诙谐趣味的广告语篇。
Advertising, as a product steming from market competition, is an activity based on creativity. Creativity and humour make advertisement discourses an outstanding variety of languages featured by coinages and rhetorical devices. Thus, discourse analysis makes an excellent approach of interpreting the illocutionary meaning and appreciating the originality and humor of advertisement discourses.
