摘要
This paper discusses the mechanism of metastable behaviour of pure substances fromthe theory of molecular aggregation, and derives the calculating formula of superheat limitsof liquid from the equation of state for molecular aggregation. The superheat limits of liquidfor more than 40 pure substances at normal pressure are calculated and compared with theexperimental data. The predicted results show that the proposed equation is fairly fitted theexperimental data.
