It pointed out that the equal potential connection goal was to reduce potential difference, which was necessary electric safety measure in intelligent building design and construction. The principle, function and classification of equal potential connection were introduced, there- fore the equal potential connection application in intelligent building was discussed further, which reached guaranteeing personal safety goal.
