The Dagudui cemetery is located on a mound 500m east to Dagudui Village in Liuhe Town of Nehe City. Since the cemetery had been damaged continually in recent years, Heilongjiang Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology, in collaboration with Nehe Municipal Office of Cultural Relics, carried out a salvaging excavation on the site from July to August in 2008. An area nearly 40m^2 was uncovered, and 24 tombs were discovered. More than 520 objects were unearthed, including ornaments, weapons, and implements made of pottery, copper, bone and stone. The tombs were all earth-pits; most of them were rectangular with rounded corners in plan. Joint burials were popular in this cemetery. Archaeologists suggest, by comparison, date of the Dagudui tombs should be in Eastern Zhou, later than early Erkeqian 二克浅 tombs, earlier than, or the same with, Pingyang 平洋 tombs.
