According to the data from laboratory and heavymetal contamination and noncontamination field experiments, it can be concluded that there were remarkable differences between the wheats from heavymetal contamination and noncontamination areas( area P and C) in some physiological, biochemical, anatomic and morphological,and quantitative characters, and the wheats had differentiated into heavymetal contamination area ecotype and noncontamination area ecotype. Based on the conclusion, some of the characters of heavymetal contamination area ecotype had been summarized.
