Genera/Ethnic Theory （revised edition） written by Prof. Jin Bing- gao gave a clear and panoramic study of Chinese ethnic theory disciplinary system. It showed the development of Chinese ethnic theory as a discipline in theory and practice. It not only stressed Chinese ethnic theory as a discipline is an original content of Marxism ethnic theory and selfinnovating ability of Marxism ethnic theory as a theoretical base, but also gave a true reflection of the development of application theory study of Chinese ethnic theory focusing on current ethnic issues in China based on actualities of social development of China over past 20 years. Besides, the book also made original study of ethnic relations and defined systematically the content of ethnic relations.
