大学英语语篇教学的分析与思考

Analysis and Ponderation: Discourse Approach in College English Teaching

语篇教学是目前大学英语教学中一种新的教学方法,它具有注重语篇的结构层次与阅读方式的学习、背景知识介绍、语篇体裁讲授、语篇层次的衔接与语篇内在结构的理解等许多突出的优点。语篇教学法注重对交际能力的培养,对学生有效地使用语言起到了重要的作用。通过分析发现,目前大学生的英语水平还不能完全适合纯粹语篇教学法的英语教学,应将语篇教学方法同传统的大学英语教学方法结合起来,取长补短,克服传统英语教学中存在的弊端,提高大学英语教学质量。

Discourse approach is widely acclaimed and adopted in college English teaching. It stresses on the teaching of the structural components of a discourse and reading strategies, and on the introduction of English levels, this paper comes to the conclusion that the pure discourse approach cannot be completely applied to EFL teaching. The combination of discourse approach with traditional teaching method overcomes the flaws in teaching, and foster the college English teaching quality.
