This paper elaborates on the present situation of the mechanical drawing teaching and analyzes the characteristics of VRML with the introduction of virtual reality technology. It aims to study how to form a three - dimensional model with the employment of virtual reality modeling language in the mechanical drawing teaching, and work out an approach to the realization of the interactive control of virtual reality three - dimensional model.
