With the development of economic and the whole society,the income gap between urban and rural residents has become the most prominent changes in the income gap between China's populations. And it is one of the important factors that affect the growth of economic and further development in society. Therefore,analyses the present situation of the gap on the basis of data and expound the reasons from many angles will be the vital practical significance for adopt the countermeasure to reduce the disparity.
