基于上下文小波量化的彩色图像压缩编码

摘要 本文针对传统彩色图像压缩算法复杂、模型开销大的不足,提出一种基于上下文小波量化的彩色图像压缩编码算法。该算法根据彩色图像亮度分量和色度分量的高度相关性和小波多分辨率理论,采用先对图像小波位平面编码,再对编码过程进行量化监督的方法来保证压缩编码的准确性。实验证明,该方法的压缩效果优于传统压缩方法JPEG2000。 In order to ameliorate the complicated arithmetic and high model cost in traditional color image compression, this paper presents a kind of new color image compression coding based on context quantization and wavelet transform. According to high correlation of brightness and chroma of color image and wavelet multi-resolution theory, this algorithm does image-bit-plane coding of wavelet. During the coding process, quantification investigation is adopted to insure the coding quantity. The experiment have shown that this method is better than the traditional image compression JPEG2000.
