This article discusses three issues of ＂V ＋ de （得） ＋ complement＂ . Firstly, on the overall function, ＂adverbial ＋ de （地） ＋ V＂ is to narrate a process in a descriptive manner, while ＂V ＋ de （得） ＋ complement＂ is to show the outcome of a process. Secondly, the information loaded by ＂V＂ in ＂V ＋ de （得） ＋ complement＂ can be both ＂old＂ and ＂new＂ . The choice of speakers between ＂old V＂ and ＂new V＂ depends on a number of semantic or expressional factors, which are observed carefully in this article. Thirdly, when teaching ＂V ＋ de （得） ＋ complement＂ to foreign students Chinese, teachers should pay more attention to the ＂dynamic＂ nature of the information of V, especially the ＂old V＂ type.
