通过对日本、新加坡和中国等亚洲主要国家的国民阅读现状及影响国民阅读的各种因素,如人口、公共图书馆数量等进行比较分析,以了解中国国民阅读在亚洲所处于的水平和地位,并借鉴他国的经验以提高我国的阅读水平。

The paper makes comparative analysis of national reading in Japan, Singapore and China, three major Asian countries, mainly from the status quo and influencing factors such as population, the number of public libraries. It aims to understand the level and status of Chinese national reading in Asia and learn from the experiences of other countries so as to enhance the level of Chinese national reading.
