反思2008年的中欧关系

2008年是中欧关系的多事之秋。与以往主要是经贸摩擦不同,本年度中欧关系中的政治对抗因素有所上升。围绕"3.14"拉萨骚乱事件,欧洲一些政治家公开支持藏独,并呼吁抵制北京奥运会,事态演变最终导致了2008年第十一次中欧峰会被迫推迟。在经贸关系方面,虽然摩擦不断,但仍属正常,并取得较大发展。总体来看,中欧关系并没有因为政治因素干扰而受到严重破坏,大局基本稳定。2009年新年伊始,温家宝总理对欧洲的"信心之旅"更是为中欧关系带来了新的转机。

The year 2008 was an eventful one for Sino-European relationship. In contrast to the previous state of Sino-European relationship where frictions between the two sides lay mainly in the area of economy and trade,confrontations in the political field became more intensified than ever. Centering their focus on the '3·14' riots in Lhasa,some European statements publicly gave supports to 'Tibet Independence' and called for a boycott to the Beijing Olympic Games,which resulted finally in the forced delay of the 11th China-EU Summit which should have been held in 2008. However,relatively significant progresses have still been achieved in the economic and trade relationship between China and Europe,although continuous conflicts always exist in this area. Totally speaking,in spite of the disturbance of political factors,the Sino-European relationship still remains essentially stable. Premier Wen Jiabao's 'Journey of Confidence'to Europe in early 2009 has brought a new turning point to further enhancing Sino-European relationship.
