摘要
清初遗民僧今种(屈大均)在番禺员岗村雷峰海云寺出家,拜函昰为师;后又到南京天界寺转礼道盛禅师,受菩萨戒。他所以转换门庭,是因为与天然及其法嗣有矛盾。而矛盾产生的根源,又在于他与函昰等人只是政治上的同道,而不是思想上的同志。这位"僧服儒心"的袈裟遗民还俗后,曾大张旗鼓地辟佛。他这样做,在思想根源上来说是因为受到了其所持的儒家本位主义立场的影响,他与大汕和尚的交恶,可能也强化了其辟佛的态度。
Jinzhong (Qu Dajun), who became a Buddhist monk in Leifeng Haiyun Temple in Yuangang Village of Panyu and was apprenticed to Haishi, was a surviving monk of the Ming Dynasty in the early Qing Dynasty. He later went to Tianjie Temple in Nanjing and became Zen master Daosheng's apprentice. The reason he converted his belief was that he was at odds with the previous master. The root of this discrepancy lay in that he and Haishi were not down the same alley, although they shared the same political stance. Qu Dajun, the Confucian scholar with monk costume, used to criticize Buddhism severely after he had resumed secular life. He was greatly influenced by his own Confucian departmentalism. His bad relationship with monk Dashan might sharpen his criticism of Buddhism.
