朝阳不仅有久远的佛教历史和灿烂的佛教文化，而且还有被誉为“东北第一佛教名山”的凤凰山。
The Fenghuangshan Mountain in Chaoyang was hailed as the No.l Buddhist Mountain in northeast China, as the mountain is home to the Longxiang Temple, built by Murong Huang （297-348）, King of the Qianyan State （337-370）. On the mountain are also cultural relics related to the temple, respectively being the Cliff Niches for Buddha （where demised monks were buried） and two pagoda ruins.
