摘要 Gabriel所著的《螺旋槽非接触端面密封基本原理》一文中所提出的端面气膜压力的控制方程,是源于经Muijderman完善的螺旋槽窄槽理论。对该文中气膜压力的计算方法进行分析讨论,对其算例进行复算,并与发表的有限元分析结果进行对比,发现其螺旋槽区域的气膜压力控制方程存在错误。在该文中,至少一组数据是根据其错误的方程计算而得。 The paper entitled as Fundamentals of Spiral Groove Noncontacting Face Seals written by Gabriel is one of the important references in the fields of the spiral groove dry gas seals. The equations governing pressure of gas film presented in Gabriel' s paper are stemmed from the narrow groove theory improved by Muijderman. The calculation method of the gas film pressure presented in Gabriel' s paper was analyzed, and some of the cases presented in Gabriel' s paper were cal- culated once more. The calculated results were compared with those in published references by finite element method (FEM). The results show that there exists an error in the governing equation for the spiral groove region, and, at least, one set of pressure data in Gabriel' s paper was calculated by the wrong governing equation.
