摘要
本文运用带拉伸台的扫描电镜(SEM),观察铸态SiCp/6061Al复合材料裂纹生成,裂纹扩展以及断口形貌。指出该材料损伤破坏的主要原因是由于粒子与基体脱粘,粒子团聚和大量存在的枝晶开裂造成的。提出了改善塑性加工性能和断裂韧性的方法。
In this paper the micro-crack initiation and crack growth processes as well as fractography in a casted SiCp/6061Al composite have been investigated by SEM insitu tensile test observation. The results indicate that debonding of the particulatematrix interface, the preexisted cracks in the clustered SiCp and the dendrite phase are probably responsible for the damage and fracture of the composite. The methods for improvement of the composite's plastic deformation characteristic and fracture toughness have also been discussed based on the data obtained.
