"范美忠事件"曾经引起了广泛的争论。从伦理的视角来看,其争论及其社会影响实际上涉及四个方面的问题:是生命伦理还是逃生伦理?是追求功利还是讲究道德、是违背伦理抑或违反法律、是政治自由还是伦理制约?道德与美德何以必要与德性何以可能?知识、科学教育与人文、人格培育孰轻孰重?本文对这些方面作一探讨,希望达到对"范美忠事件"有一个全面的伦理性认识。

＂Fan Meizhong Event＂ caused broad arguments. From ethical perspective, these arguments and social influences involve four questions： living ethics or escaping ethics？ Pursuing utilities or paying particular attention to moralities, going against ethics or violating laws ,freedom of politics or restrictions of ethics？ Why are morality and virtue necessary and why are moralities possible？ which is more important： knowledge,science edu- cation or humanity ,personality training？ This paper will inquire into these aspects in the hope that it can give an overall ethical understanding on ＂Fan Meizhong Event.＂
