摘要
劳伦斯《儿子与情人》与张爱玲《金锁记》都描述了人性异化。前者中莫瑞尔太太与儿子保罗畸形的母子情深与后者中曹七巧对儿子姜长白的态度颇有相似之处。通过对比研究可知,19世纪末至20世纪初,英、中两国的社会环境及家庭矛盾是造成主人公人性异化的主要原因。
The close relationship between Mrs, Morel and her son Paul Morel in Lawrence＇s novel Sons and Lovers is like that between Cao Qiqiao and her son Jiang Changbai in Eileen Chang＇s The Yoke of Wealth. The two masterpieces similarly reflect the social phenomenon -alienation of human nature. A comparative study of the two novels reaches a conclusion that the social environment and the family conflicts under it in Britain and China during the transition from the 19th to the 20th centuries are, the main reasons to the alienation.
