柏拉图的《理想国》提出了对统治阶级进行音乐教育和体育这两种技艺教育。通过考察在柏拉图"理念论"影响下美育和体育的本质,进而探讨这两种教育之间的关系。

Republic of Plato is a western masterpiece with far-reaching influence. In this book,Plato expressed an opinion that education included arts education and physical education. The present paper attempts to clarify his idea of the connotation of education and discuss the relationship between the two types of education.
