PL3105 is an intelligent control ASIC chip of powerline communication. It has 8051 compatible MCU instructions and direct sequence spectrum carrier communication. The paper introduces main characteristics and carrier communication principle of PL3105, analysis hardware and software design method for carrier communication application.
