As a program and information platform for public welfare, the System of 'Extending Broadcasting Coverage to Every Village'in China’s DBS supplies radio and TV programs, and offers a comprehensive information service to cover rural areas in China. This service is based on XML file’s data broadcasting technology. With self-defining data transmission, customers can get comprehensive information service, including teletext, freely by STB without middleware integration. The paper introduces this service’s technology and implementation.
