Knowledge Discovery is an effectively technical tool to find knowledge from a large amount ofinforrnation, if used to develop resources in the digital library, it would enhance the ability of the information service in the digital library. Based on the analysis of information environment, this paper sets out that Knowledge Discovery plays a positive role to improve the ability of information services in the digital library.
