SINOPEC Qilu Company has preliminarily performed the pilot tests on manufacture of DME in the 60-t/a catalytic distillation unit, with all technical indicators of the unit complying with the design targets. It is learned that this technology for manufacture of DME by means of catalytic distillation features low reaction temperature, high conversion rate, good selectivity, low energy consumption and simple process flow sheet.
