A New Remote TDCS/CTC Maintenance System Based on out-of-band Management Techniques

As Train Operation Dispatching Command System and Centralized Traffic Control （TDCS/ CTC ） system play more and more important roles in the safe and efficient operation of chinese railways train, the maintenance of the system has become a matter of rising concern. Here, on the basis of indepth analysis, the weakness of the existing TDCS/CTC maintenance system and consequent increase in demand were discussed, and a new remote maintenance system based on the out-of-band techniques was suggested. Then the characteristics and system structure of the proposed solution were explicated thoroughly and its public benefits were evaluated.
