Elastoplastic dynamic analysis was carried out for a masonry structure strengthened with steel meshed cement mortar. The whole working and strengthening effect of the structure are studied. As a result, the erathquake intensity resisted by the strengthened building can at least be increased by one degree than when not strengthened.
