Abstract This article recommends the important position of light weight partition materials in large spacing living quarters,and their general situation and development in foreign countries as well as production ultilization situation in our country.It discusses the essentials of developing lightweight planks during our country'9th fiveyear plan'period as well as the target to be attained.
