从边缘出发——奚密的现代汉诗研究述评

Starting from Margin:A Review of Michelle Yeh's Study on Modern Chinese Poetry

奚密,现任教于美国加州大学戴维斯分校东亚语文系和比较文学系,长期从事现代汉诗的研究活动。本文从奚密独特的边缘视角出发,对其丰富的研究进行系统的梳理与介绍。通过对奚密提出的现代汉诗独特的美学意象、隐喻提升和环形结构的介绍,发掘其研究中秉持的中心理念——现代与传统在每一个作家、作品中连结。在介绍奚密一系列理论命题,如诗歌崇拜,诗歌的现代与后现代和诗歌的文化政治的同时,本文亦将展现奚密作为一个比较文学学者的宽阔视野及其研究成果。

Michelle Yeh is now teaching at Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures and Department of Comparative Literature, University of California Davis while studying long-term modern Chinese poetry. Through a unique perspective of margin, a systematic introduction is made of Michelle Yeh ＇s fruitful studies.By an analysis of unique features concerning modern Chinese poetry, such as aesthetic image, metaphor improvement and cycling structure,the central ideas in Michelle Yeh＇s studies are discussed in detail.A series of theories put forward by Michelle Yeh are introduced, such as cult of poetry, modernism and post-modernism in poetry and cultural politics in poetry. Finally, as an expert in comparative literature, Michelle Yeh＇s broad views and fruitful research results are demonstrated.
